Jammu: Under the nationwide programs launched by BJPon CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), BJP unit of Jammu West organized publicmeetings in support of the Act in various wards of Janipur including Wards 35,37 and 38. Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West mainly presided over theprograms. Sharma was also accompanied by Corporators Yash Pal Sharma, SunitaGupta & Surinder Sharma, State Secretary BJP Praduman Singh, DistrictPresident Munish Khajuria, Mandal President Raveesh Mengi and programs wereattended by hundreds of inhabitants including Muslims and political activistsof the areas.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said thatpeople now understand the reality behind CAA and people themselves are comingon roads supporting it. He also blamed Congress for dividing poor people in thename of religion and said that people must know about the Anti India approachadopted by Congress and its partners on the Act.

 

He stated that India Supports CAA because itis about giving citizenship to persecuted refugees and not about takinganyone’s citizenship away. He appealed citizens to show open hearted support infavor of CAA and also asked them to not to fall into the traps of communalismand hatred led by Congress and its allies. He also stated that feedbacks from groundproject that more than majority are supporting the Act and the remaining willalso support it once they come to know about the reality behind it.

Praduman, Munish and Raveesh exhorted thepeople present to organize more programs, meetings, rallies and marches insupport of CAA to counter the negative propaganda floated by opposition.

Yash, Sunita and Surinder stated that thesituation is now turning in favor of CAA nationwide and people will keepsupporting the policies of Narendra Modi led Central Government.

Mohan Singh Rana, Tanvir Hussain, MasterJoginder, Ashok Bhat, Ajay Manhas, Urvashi Gupta, Sangeeta Verma, Vicky Sharma,Kulbir Singh, Sahil gupta, Rakesh Gupta, Ravi Kant, Kaka Dubey, Rajesh Sainiand many others were also present.
